The Things Mr. Hamilton Has Taught Me

David Hamilton, that is. Ever since I was exposed to the work of
Mr. Hamilton at an early age, I have aspired to the soft, idyllic
look that he has mastered. I have also scoffed at the use of
soft focus filters. I consider them a cheap, uncreative trick.
(Mr. Hamilton uses them too, but then he's the master.)
Instead, for a dreamy look, I prefer the use of soft light and
high speed film, resulting in a misty look that loses no
clarity in the attempt.
