Just Tell Me This

Sometimes an image is just a great photograph with
no particular personal meaning or interpretation.
Geometry, composition, attitude, all things work
together to form an arresting image.
There is, however, one feature with personal appeal.
In this day of interpersonal politics, with social
mine fields strewn about indiscriminately,
I see a face in this photograph that looks back at me,
accessing me, but taking me at face value nonetheless.
