Fundamental Differences

As tattoos have become the current passion/fashion, it is
becoming more difficult to find models with unaltered
features. While this is not necessarily bad, it does
present a challenge to the photographer. What if you
don't want the tattoo to become the dominant subject in
the photograph? This was my first triumph over this
conundrum. By making the tattoo a simple ornament of
the horizon, and towering the human form above it like a
Greek colossus, the otherwise distracting feature adds
welcome attention to the base of the visual structure.
