Form And Pattern

I know, I know....
This image is skirting dangerously close to
a million other cliched images
usually seen in Photography 101
classes. Countless generations of photographic
masters as well as wannabes have expended tons of
silver halide, throwing light onto the nude human form.
The best examples are beautiful studies of
contour and texture. The worst are cluttered,
gratuitous misuses of the body as projection screen.
I only hope that with my work, the ghost
of Man Ray sleeps peacefully tonight.
