We are often surprised when someone disappoints
us. In response we call them racist, sexist, ignorant,
or closed-minded. Or maybe it is because she is a she,
or he is a he, or "those people" are just like that.
The truth is, people are inherently self-serving,
and behind anyone's eyes lurks a traitor.
