Fever

I remember the sweltering heat of summer, growing up in
South Louisiana.
100 degrees F in 100% humidity is oppressive under any
circumstances. Boredom, however, under these conditions
quickly escalates to sheer ennui. It is those unbearable days that
came to mind one August day when this sparsely furnished
apartment became available as a location.
