In the Christianity of the American century,
there is no difference between skepticism and
cynicism. Both are equal. Both are
insulting to the bretheren.
The intellect is the bane of faith.
Doubt is the opposite of belief.
Yet doubt is the beginning of the search. Doubt
yearns for the earnest suitor to come calling.
An answer without a question,  however, is often
merely a blunt instrument used in fear to
incapacitate a perceived opponent...
