Beastly

I love grain in photography. Real, point of exposure grain,
not post-production digital grain. Grain can give a sense of mood,
a sense of place, an implication of more than meets the eye.
Grainy black and white film adds a tremendous range to my
pallatte. Depending upon my choice of exposure, the world
can look as wispey as tissue paper, or as coarse and hard as
concrete.
