Although I love nature and the opportunities that Colorado affords me,

I am often reluctant to use the scenic mountain landscape as an element

in my images. People frequently suggest Red Rocks, for instance, as a location.

I never, ever want to take the same photo twice, nor do I want to recreate

anyone else's images. I am painfully sensitive to cliche, and I'm sure

that this restraint is limiting, but I prefer to err on the side of caution.
